I've been a little sick over the past week and a bit, hoping that it wouldn't turn to serious. On the mend, but it's still early days yet.
Been confronted with a few decisions to make.
1) Changing to Part-Time Study
There are pros and cons to this, which I have considered. At the moment, I've decided to do it; a decision which is unlikely to change. Might need to go looking for a part-time job or something.
2) Going to Japan
This was really sudden and my plans to do so have now been abandoned. The dates didn't work in my favour and although it is a lost opportunity, I'm sure it will come again. Easy come and easy go.
3) What to do after I graduate
An ongoing issue that is always in the depths of mind. It surfaces every now and then for a breath of air, then submerges again. Don't know if I'm just suppressing and putting off making a decision or what, but I'm working towards a few goals to aid me when I actively (rather than sporadically) start looking into the job market, e.g. learning to drive (been dragging my feet over this one), other qualifications.
With the last assessment to complete bar my thesis this week, I suppose it's natural that my thoughts would turn to other things. At the moment all I want to do is do kendo. Unfortunately, with university exams tying up our training facility, this is a bit difficult. I'm probably wanting to seek relief in physical activity to stave off cerebral activity.
I can see myself procrastinating wildly to the detriment of this essay, e.g. my room is quite messy and requires tidying up. Actually, the whole room needs a good going over with a vacuum, a damp cloth and a disposable attitude. I've been hoarding too much over the years.
