Efficient Meeting, Of Sorts

Another executive committee meeting for our society, in which we discussed many topics.

The meeting was going quite nicely, efficiently and smoothly, up until we reached the topic of our new t-shirts. I think the sticking point was how to distribute them. So a one and half hour meeting ended up running to two hours, which was too long considering that we were getting hungry at that point. Lunch had been far too long ago.

My proposal for a newsletter to our members was received well, possibly because I had written more than half of the first issue before I even brought it up to the others. Note for the future: lay the groundwork if you want other people to accept something. It saves a lot of trouble.
