It is very distressing when things that are supposed to show you how to do things (diagrams and instructions) are indecipherable. I think people forget that because they know how, it should be obvious to everyone else. Clearly, it's not. Missing steps, enigmatic wording and diagrams that only show half the picture are no help to anyone.
I unpacked my bogu yesterday and was trying to figure out how to tie the men-himo onto the men, when I discovered that descriptions on how to do so are very hard find/understand. I did the best I could though. Everything fits pretty well, although I haven't put everything on at once yet, so we'll have to see. Do need to break in the kote properly though, cos the wrists are stiff and the finger/thumb parts aren't in the correct positions.
Couldn't really do much with that, as I was needing to pack for my brief trip up to Brisbane. Although you try to pack as light as possible, there are still a few things needed for a week. Not least some of the things I have to read before the workshops...I'll probably go slightly over the airline's carry-on luggage limit, but hopefully no one will notice.
Once I get back, it'll time to get stuck into my kendo. Fun!!
