First time checking my email for a week, as I hadn't turned the computer on since before I left for camp: 50 unread messages and about 100 spam. About average for me, I suppose.
SPOC camp (Student Point Of Contact, for the University of Sydney, for those not in the know) wasn't as enjoyable for me as in the past. Not sure if it's because the cohort is so young, or because almost everyone I used to do it with have all graduated and moved on. They say that a generation is about four years and for sure, some of this year's group are a lot younger than me than that.
Otherwise, my life hasn't been eventful enough to merit blogging about. Only a brief shopping expedition for necessities, a few days of re-reading some of my favourite authors and discovering their genius. Oh, and replying to emails and trying to organise myself and other people before uni starts. Back to the life of a terribly busy person running about.
