After a day spent indoors yesterday - following a sudden fever that attacked me after lunch - we went out this morning for walk to La Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's unfinished church. I didn't know much about Gaudi's work before we visited, but they had some pretty good exhibitions inside. The central nave of the church is like the trunks and canopy of trees in a forest and is really interesting.
We've visited quite a few interesting buildings on this trip, which is pleasing. Currently, I'm nursing my back, which is really painful all of a sudden and waiting for lunch. On our way back before, all the shops were closing for siesta. I might have one too before we head out again. It's A's birthday today, so we're going out for dinner and sangria and having a bit of a party.
