Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not the good student that I might appear.
Thus, I was finishing off an essay at 4pm yesterday when I was supposed to have been at the Unibodhi AGM, but wanting to go to kendo training (...too many obligations). Well, it was basically making sure that I was within the word count. Then an obstacle occurred. I was using Endnote for my references and forgot that transferring from my customised styles at home to the generic university computers leaves me with an inappropriate style. So I spent the next 15-20 minutes copying and reformatting the entire reference list. 21 references is not a lot for me, but still...
The next obstacle was that the printer was slow and my patience was running thin, so I ran over to Fisher to the printing computers. I log in and an unwanted survey pops up in my face. Cancel. Cancel. Cancel.
Well, I got the assignment in on time and dashed over to the Unibodhi AGM, where, thankfully the president was just finishing off his report. Proceedings proceeded and I am now the new secretary for the society, following my two sisters in the two previous years. Everyone headed off for the post-AGM party, while I attempted to catch a bus to the city.
I got the MLC Centre - Theatre Royal about five minutes before the show began, so I had no chance to pick up dinner, despite my growling innards. If anyone is wondering, I went to see 'My Fair Lady' with friend. I'll talk about the show in another entry. Suffice it to say, it "done me in"! ^^
Took a detour on the way back for a belated dinner before meeting up with my sisters and heading to Surry Hills.

Woke late and feeling ill, so I had a potato for breakfast. I lounged about for a bit before my sister suggested going to Paddy's Market to wander around. Packed up and with all of 20 cents in my wallet, we walked around. Had a late lunch from Barby's - the weird Indonesian bread shop - which was quite good bread-wise.
Took a bus to Fisher Library, where I am typing this now, instead of working on my next assignment, due on Monday. Dead dull, I tell you.
I really am hanging out for that day of quality time with my typewriter.
