Spent the morning aggravating my hayfever by giving my room a good once over with the vacuum cleaner. This is the first stage of my usual seasonal clean-up, where I clear out the room of stuff I've accumulated. Amazing how much.
My friend has decided to hold an afternoon tea in a week or two, so I'm rummaging through some recipe books for something suitable to make. The first decision is whether to make something sweet or savoury. Or both. Depends how much I feel up to.
Cakes or biscuits? Soup or skewers? Tarts or scones? It's always difficult when there is so much choice. It'll be fun whatever I choose.
