Riding Hard, Studying Hard

Went over to a friend's place to study today. She lives up the road from us, in the neighbouring suburb, so I rode my bike over. As I haven't ridden in a while, I think my legs have gotten stronger (thanks, kendo), as I wasn't really tired after the ride. Of course, it's not really a difficult ride and moderate longish.

Greeted by her little dog, Bobo, we headed inside where we proceeded to get some headway with the subject. After lunch (homemade noodles and mince sauce), we took the dog for a walk around the block. She's a little thing and last time I saw her, earlier this year, she was just a pup about 6 weeks old and able to to picked up in one hand. She's white with a few pale brown patches with long fur (just cut apparently) and a really pretty tail. She's really energetic too. At one point on our walk, we'd stopped and when I turned, she ran smack into my leg.

We got back and did some more study, before I found that I was sleepy, so I took a 20 minute nap on the sofa. I woke to find one of the neighbours playing some nice piano. Friend said the neighbour's family are all very musical. Being a darn good musician herself, this is pretty cool all round.

I managed to finish off with some of my notes before her mum came home and we ended up all talking about my upcoming trip, before my friend decided she needed to go to the gym. So I rode back home and am wondering whether to continue studying or work on our travel plans some more for this evening's activities. Oh wait, I forgot. I'm going out to a VIP night for one of our local shops tonight. Well, that will be interesting too.
