Went in this morning to have a chat with my Honours supervisor for next year about what sorts of things he has that I might be able to work on, as well as getting some recommendations for background reading. We ended up talking for a good hour and a half almost, as he is one of my close friends' father. Funny how things work out.
Afterwards, I met my sister for lunch before her exam. I left her to go to Ray's Outdoors to have a wander before bussing to town hall and walking around a few of the shops there. I made a few purchases but nothing of note.
I proceeded to my Oriental Reflexology/Acupressure Massage doctor for an hour and a half of prodding, poking and cupping, which left me a bit sore and sleepy, as always. The process can be quite painful at times and my knees were really bad this time, possibly because I haven't seen her for a few months; as well as my face, which my sister told me was twitching this morning. It gets quite tense when I've been stressed or anxious about anything and when I haven't slept enough. I seriously had not realised how much tension I had accumulated throughout my body.
When I get cupping done, some of them look like circular bruises of the purple variety, which is why I often wear long sleeves and pants, so I don't freak people out. Can't shower for a few hours after the treatment though, due to the massive amounts of cold energy that I exude after treatment. My doctor tells me that when it happens, it makes her itch. And yes, I'm generally warm, but I seem to harbour cold energy at times. A bit like my personality really.
Dad met me after work and we took the train back. I'm sleepy still, even after my usual nap on the train.

Where/Who does your reflexology/cupping stuff?
We have a kit of it at home and my parents sometimes use it too, I haven't for ages, and yeah, it's kind of difficult to explain the bruising sometimes, but since the celeb Paltrow had it done a while back, more people are aware of it haha
Vanessa Wood. She has a place in Ashfield, but is working at a place in the city at the moment, near world Square.
That's cool that you have a kit. I still think it's a hassle to explain the whole business to ignorant people though.
