After preparing my ingredients, I decided to go out and do some last minute shopping. Hopefully, I have everything I need now. Well, I got back and did my pavlova and some of my Bait Biscuits (there's a story behind this name). The pavlova seems okay. I'll know when we have it for dessert tonight. The biscuits got overdone slightly while I was washing my jacket, so I've had to trim off the darker bits. Otherwise they taste okay. It might have had something to do with my adding a bit more honey into the mixture than usual.
It was an otherwise uneventful day. I spent the morning making phones to people who need to know that I'm heading overseas, e.g. bank, Centrelink and mobile phone company.
My packing is underway, but I have to spend this evening backing up the computer that had problems last time, as the hard drive is being replaced tomorrow. The things needing to be done never cease.
